New red aluminum intake manifold fit 2015?

Hello!

New BRZ owner here, just curious if I can purchase the new red aluminum intake manifold from the new model BRZ and if it is a direct bolt on replacement on my 2015? Has anyone done this? Are there any additional requirements to do the swap?

I'll admit, on the surface, I am looking to do it because it looks so damn good in the engine bay on the WRB Brz.. but I plan to go FI in the future and would like the new intake manifold to go along with that. I've heard while you got the intake manifold off there are some vacuum lines underneath it that should be clamped on that don't already have clamps for when you go boosted.. figured i'd take care of that in the process as well.

It fits no problem, just get all your gaskets and you are good to go.

It's on expensive side though. As there will be close to no performance gains .. i'd rather spend that money elsewhere. Too expensive for just looks of part you won't see most of a time imho.

DI Injector covers need to be modified or you need to get MY17 covers. Another option is Verus ones.

The biggest difference you may notice is NVH. Engine noise will be quieter.

You just need the ecu bracket rail cover, you don’t need the drivers side. The DI punp might be a bit louder without it though, there’s a ton of padding on the stock one

Take your black one off, clean, prep and paint red. Way cheaper than 400 bucks. I just sprayed my 04 WRX intake black - looks great.
