Get a bolt on one.
Before you go the track bolt it on. After bolt it off for daily driving comfort.

Here is an article about why it's not a great idea to run a harness bar and harness without a roll bar. It's specifically talking about a case with an older Civic, and I'm sure the twins have some more structural support than that, but it's still a good thought.
http://www.tracktuned.com/feed/2016/...oughts-on-them Edit: the article comes up on my phone, but not my laptop.. sorry if it doesn't work.

The right way, unfortunately, is to get a welded-in half cage with a built in harness bar.

Slippery slope. first the harness bar, then the 4pt harness, then you realize it looks super dumb with a stock seat so you have to get a bucket. Oh, doesn't look symmetrical? uh oh gotta get a passenger bucket and harness on that side because if it's the stock 3pt harness it'll look dumb and wear out the seat pads where the seatbelt contacts.
Go to the track with the 3pt stock seatbelts first. Plenty of people do and are in that "enthusiast" category. Unless you are all-out racing, 4pt harness on a street car is overkill. |

I run the Essex harness bar with a full understanding I may not make it when the car rolls over. At the track, my setup is a significant improvement from the stock seat belts but still lacking as compared to proper bucket seats. I use stock seat belts on the street, with the harnesses tucked behind the seats.

Don't run 4pt for anything where you are going fast. It is good in off-road / low speed situations but once you start going quicker you have to worry about submarining.

There is an attachment for your stock buckle you can buy to lock down the seatbelt to prevent you from skiding in the stock seats. It's no cage+harness but a geat addition for spirited driving and tge icasionak hpde.
Ft86 speedfactory has some and even a video/demo on their youtube page.

Even 5 points are starting to go out of favor for 6 and 7 points. It is all about keeping your pelvis locked in and keeping it from rotating.
