Yokohama Advan Fleva V-701 Anyone? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Have anyone tried the relatively new Yokohama Advan Fleva V-701? They have been available in Japan for like a year and a half, but seems relatively new on this side of the pond.

I've read they are a replacement for the old Yokohama S,drive AS01 with supposedly much better wet traction using a tire profile from the Advan Sport V-105.

Okay so I've finally got them on in size 215/45/R17 91W and I've only drove them for a little bit yesterday so no review yet. Tires are Made in Philippines.

Initial impression is they are quite comfy. I've already mounted them on 7.5J rims to get the sidewall a little stiffen. Hopefully not too soft in spirited driving.

Used them here in the UK, not too bad as a road tyre but not as much grip as the V105. Not much grip on circuit either.
