LS3 with T56 xl 2.97 - what final drive ratio?

Hey guys,

I am in the process of swapping a LS376/525 in our beloved BRZ.
The transmission we'll be using is the tremec Magnum XL 2.97.

I am going back and forth on which final drive ratio to choose. The car is a road warrior wich will see some track use. Since the effect isn't too dramatic in lower gears, the decision is mainly dictated by highway efficiency.

For those who might be interested, the tremec's ratios are:
1st 2.97
2nd 2.1
3rd 1.46
4th 1.0
5th .8
6th .63

The rear tires are 25.3". I am going back and forth between 3.55 and 3.73. In first and second the difference at 6500rpm is only 2 and 4 mph, so thats not too important.
But on the highway at 100-115 mph (I am located in Germany) it would make a difference.

My question is this: What do you think how the car would behave with a 3.73 vs. a 3.55 or even something like 3.42?

The Ls3 will always have more than 350 ft-lbf available, I think thats plenty.
1st would peak at 44/46/48 and 2nd at 62/65/68

Would you say 3.55 or even 3.42 could make the car feel less alive or just less insane
What are you guys running?
