What is the secret to lining up the blue marks on the fuel pump assembly

I had to remove my fuel pump assembly from the tank to siphon out my gas tank. When reinstalling the fuel pump assembly I could not get the blue lines on the canister and the cap to line up but the assembly is in there tight. How imperative is it that the lines match? Anyone know for sure, your knowledge will be appreciated.

Blue marks? You mean the witness marks the factory puts on every bolt so they can see if you fucked with it or not?

Yeah don't worry about ever trying to line those up. It it's tighten good and solid it's fine. Just don't expect a warrant claim from the dealer cuase they would say "....you fucked with the fuel pump, didn't you?" Or "...which service shop did work on the fuel pump?"
