MY2017 exhaust difference?!

Hey guys! Just recently acquired my 17’ BRZ. I was looking online for some cheap cat back exhaust options while I’m saving for a supercharger, and the Berk dual muffler delete states specifically on their website that it does not fit MY2017. I was unaware of a difference in exhaust components for the 2017?

Also, I have decided to go with the Spec-D (N1 knockoff) exhaust, is anyone running that on a 2017?

Is there a fix for that? Or will I need to find 2017-specific exhausts?

Guys have made it work by just slotting the holes. The difference isn't huge.

It's the flange between the resonator/mid pipe and muffler that is apparently different for 2017.

The spec D you mentioned should be fine with no modification as that appears to be a full catback system. No changes to flanges at donut gasket/spring bolts.

I installed a magnaflow catback on my 2017 and no fit issues. Any full catback system should bolt on just fine.

Yep, only the muffler flange is different so axle-back exhausts must be compatible to 2017+ cars. Cat backs are forward compatible.

FWIW, if anyone is looking for an axle back for 2017+ cars, MRT makes one that is slotted to work with all years, and Nameless makes a specific 2017+ now. I have the MRT and like it a lot.
