Jrsc intercooler and bypass valve upgrade questions

I was wondering if anyone has swapped the jrsc intercooler out for something different like a mishimoto and what they needed to do. Also i was looking into getting a new recirculating valve and was wondering if a bov would work or if it would cause any harm. Thanks!

Can I ask why you are considering swapping the intercooler? What are your IATs?

The mishimoto intercoolers are not very high quality parts. Since this is cosmetic only, I'd instead consider popping off your bumper, and making some improved ducting. It should look more racecar, and racecar is always in style, unlike downgrading your intercooler for aesthetics.
