They have a chipped ignition. Doesn't matter if key or push button. Without special equipment they can not be started. If a professional car thief that has such equipment wants your car there is nothing you can do to stop them. No professional car thieves are after these cars.

I love it, the car you show being hauled off is a Noble, not many around.

Is your car a manual transmission? If it is, that's a built in theft-deterrent system!

a nuke is better for security. no one will take your car if there is a bomb in the passengers seat.

[QUOTE=winstonscifi;2982911]No professional car thieves are after these cars/QUOTE]

Well I'm going to have to disagree with this statement. We purchased a FRS Series 1 car. The series 1 has the more expensive ($500) key fob. that is supposed to make the car very hard to steal. The Ironic thing is that car was bought at auction, and the car had been stolen previously. Amazingly the Russian salesman told us all the missing parts were inside the vehicle when they bought it.

Yes all the fobs are chipped, but from the two Toyota Dealers that we went to, there are 2 versions of the Fob and with the $500 being much more difficult to hack.
