Well I'm going to have to disagree with this statement. We purchased a FRS Series 1 car. The series 1 has the more expensive ($500) key fob. that is supposed to make the car very hard to steal. The Ironic thing is that car was bought at auction, and the car had been stolen previously. Amazingly the Russian salesman told us all the missing parts were inside the vehicle when they bought it. Yes all the fobs are chipped, but from the two Toyota Dealers that we went to, there are 2 versions of the Fob and with the $500 being much more difficult to hack. |
