I'm going to be in the boise area in a couple weeks looking for a retirement house. What are the best areas with no hoa?

Oh well, maybe someone from Boise will see this. I was hoping someone could tell me where the good dive bars are too. Love a good dive bar.
I think I'm just going to go with the cheap Corolla rental. I'm going to be driving a lot, so I don't want the v8 Mustang or truck. |

It'll be cold and icy in the winter.
Take a side trip over to Ontario and Baker City in Oregon. No sales tax over there. Not sure what they do for retired income tax though. Boise is an hour or so down the highway from there if there's not enough traffic for your comfort. Yeah. Bro-Dozers in every driveway that don't go off road.

If you go to the link humfrz listed you can click search members -> advanced search and search by location. I see 22 members who list themselves as in boise.
