Stock header + Catted front pipe

Hi all

Posting this as I couldn't find an answer from searching previous threads. I have a completely stock exhaust system and I'm looking to swap out only the front pipe (replacing with a high flow catted front pipe).

Has anyone done this here? and is there any increase in smells?

ps not interested in other combinations. Just wanting to add the catted front pipe for a slight tone change . Something like the below

I doubt it. You aren't deleting the cat, you're just replacing it. Even if you deleted that cat there's still one in the headers. imo if you want tone change just get an axleback, but get the front pipe if your heart is set on it

In general, you will notice more of an increase in exhaust gas smell at cold start, especially in a garage or enclosed parking area.

Otherwise, it will be the same once it warms up.
