Ecutek datalogging

Anyone can confirm if it's possible to datalog with Ecutek dongle & cable if you don't have a copy of the ROM that's flashed to the ECU?

I've had my car dyno tuned but didn't get a copy of the ROM file. Wanted to datalog to see how it's really running (butt dyno says everything's fine but brain wants some numbers to crunch).

do a query ecu in ecutek, note the rom calibration id

open the same rom calid from the ecutek stock roms and you can use that to log tuned rom

You ideally want to attach the RaceROM patch to the file as what's on the car 1st as it gives you more parameters, some of which you kind of need. Can you not get the file from the tuner? At least ask them what RaceROM patch is on the tune.
