Gauging interest: Pivot Dual Gauge Pro DPW (formerly Pivot Dual Gauge DXW)

I previously had the Pivot Dual Gauge installed in my BRZ, worked out well for me for daily driving as well as track use.

However, I know that this type of gauge has a bit of limited use in the US, mostly because people prefer to utilize the Torque app via a smartphone, or even run Aim Solo DL when at the track.

The Pivot DPW currently sells for $226 + shipping to wherever you are from Japanparts.com... I'm basically trying to see if

1. Would ~$250 shipped price be suitable for users in the US?
2. Would something like this even be of interest to enthusiasts, given the widespread availability of Torque and other engine monitoring apps?

Would welcome some honest feedback.

it's a nice looking gauge, but kind of on the pricey side for just 3 outputs (water temp, oil temp, IAT?). does your $250 price include the vent mount, or just the gauge?

Hence my post, the price is high but it's basically integrated into the car after you are done.

Some people prefer a tablet or phone, but those require an external mount or you ripping out your head unit.

This comes with everything including the vent insert that replaces your left side AC vent.
