TOB #3 Lasts 2 Weeks

As the title says, I'm getting mildly annoyed with the throw out bearing issue.
  • Stock TOB lasted 3 years, lot's of track days motor was E85/header/Tune I was not having any TOB specific issues when the clutch failed.
  • Replaced clutch witch ACT 6 puck, car sat a while while motor was built but the TOB started squealing within a couple months of being back on the road.
  • Just had the TOB replaced along with a billet clutch fork and within 2 weeks the squeal is back. (Yes it goes away with just a slight touch of the clutch pedal)
Not having any issues other than the noise, it was professionally installed by a very experienced local shop and they will obviously install another under warranty. But..........any ideas what is going on and maybe it's just me but I seem to be reading a good many threads regarding these failures??

I went through the exact same thing! My original TOB was squeaking and also make depressing the clutch harder. After my SC, I decided to change the clutch to the South Bend Clutch Stage 2. The TOB lasted a month before issues arose. The shop tried to say it was my velox clutch fork, but I just had them change the bearing. After 2 months it happened again. This time they changed the bearing, the input shaft, and reverted the fork to stock. No issues since. But I think the bearing comes down to being kinda lucky....

Did your first or second replacement was a stock TOB? I've heard OEM TOB > ACT TOB, so if both of your replacements where ACT, that might be it.
