Optimal brake pad for cold/wet on Wilwood caliper

Hello,

To simply question you guys, what is the suitable pad compound for good initial bite during rainy weather? (Semi-metallic/Ceramic/Ferro-Carbon, etc) I currently use Wilwood 4 piston caliper with BP-20 pad. The pad is great when it warms up, but it doesn't have much friction on rainy day highway. There's good 1-2 second delay before braking comes in. I'm concerned about emergency situation on a daily basis driving condition. I'm not looking for all around pad for daily/track, but more of regular/somewhat spirited driving that will give good initial feedback. I will have separate pad for track driving, so that's another subject.

I've searched world web, but couldn't find credible source.. hoping same platform guys might be able to provide their experiences. Any feedback is appreciated.

Sounds like just about any street oriented 'sporty' pad is what you're looking for, no idea what fits the Wilwoods though.

Stoptech, Carbotech 1521, Project Mu NS400, Hawk Street something. That's what's off the top of my head. Should do what you want, stop solid on the first touch of the brake and hold up to 'spirited' driving like backroads or casual autox.

I'd add to that list Ferodo DS2500.
