New Clutch Question (break-in?)

Before I go back to the stealership wanted to ask other owners if they had a break-in experience or noise with a new clutch.

The dealership replaced my clutch and pedal assembly under warranty for the throw out bearing noise mentioned in this forum commonly.

Now In 1st gear and sometimes 2nd it makes a noise like a pinball machine flipper firing rapidly when I let the clutch out slow while accelerating. 1st gear, let out the clutch slowly, give it gas, and the noise comes from around the gear shift linkage (or below it? transmission?) not from the clutch area to my knowledge. Other gears besides 1st and 2nd operate fine.

Is this clutch chatter and I need to continue breaking in the new OEM clutch? Or perhaps the repair is incomplete or some bolts aren't torqued to spec and causing a noise?

mine isn't rapid but there is some click clack going on underneath when I'm letting the clutch out and it's been doing it since day 1 so I assume that's normal noise

First off, there is NO "new clutch question" ...... ALL of them have been used up ..... several times over ......

I'd suggest you give several more miles (like 100) to settle in and if it doesn't shut up, take it back to the dealer for a look see.

Now, I gotta go hide the Easter eggs .......

Haha 'new' clutch. Yeah I'll continue to DD it, just not exactly confidence inspiring. I'll try to take a video as well its just a bit intermittent to replicate.
