New wheels, want to know if they'll rub and best tires to run

whats going on everyone,
haven't been on here in a while since I got my new job but I'm coming to y'all with a question. I'm looking into getting some wheels for Judy (my car ) and I also need to get tires with them as well (obviously). I'm looking at 18X8.5 AVID1 AV30 wheels and Michelin Primacy tires (hey, they haven't let me down yet hahaha). my main question is am I going to be rubbing on turns and what tire size should I run so I don't rub. I know there is a tire gauge in this thread somewhere but I can't seem to find it. if someone could send the link or post it in the coments that would be great. but I also would like your feed back if anyone is running these and how they like them. are they heavy, is there clearance issues andything of the matter. I am also lowered on Eibach Sportlines so I know that will also play a roll in the rubbing factor. any help is welcomed. thanks in advance

What's the off set? I run 18x8.5 et 35 and my tires are 245/40-18 on eibach sportline too. But I do rub if I hit a hard bump and if I make a hard turn at full speed. Normal driving no rub so I think a 235/40-18 might help but most people say go with 225/40-18. Oh and the fronts not rubbing at all it's just the rear. Been thinking of changing just the rear spring to like a 1 inch drop spring to give it a bit of rake. I really like how my tires look. Also it might not rub if let's say I get a better rear sway bar. That way there's less roll in the back! Hope this helps

sick! I'm stoked on it now. I plan on running 18x8.5 ET 35 with 225/40/18 with +40 offset and 18x9.5 with 255/35/18 ET 30with +43 offset in the rear. you said its just the rear that you rub on fast corners?

I'm on 18x8.5 +35 wheels with 235/40/18 Hankook Ventus V12 evo2, no rubbing here.
I am, however, on stock height for the time being though.

Dual offsets? how? et30 in the rear is a little too much. +35 to +40 is good

Dual offsets because I'm getting 9.5 in the back and 8.5 in the front

No. Look at what I quoted. ET means offset. You have two offsets for the front and two offsets for the rear.

Oh damn, I didn't know what the ET stood for. So I put both😂😂 it's gonna be 35 front and 30 rear

+30 rear is too much. Some would say +35 also. I'm on +34 255/35 lowered about 1.5inches and it pokes about half an inch and rubs the rear bumper tab and is dangerously close to popping the rear fender. I also have a mild fender roll. On big bumps it hits the fender and tire has cuts from it.

Yes only rear rubs on fast corners and on bumps if I don't slow down enough

Got an alignment finally and no more rubbing at high speeds on corners unless I'm above 110 so thinks me needs better roll bars and il be good oh but stil rubs on hard bumps
