Boost on stock map sensor

Topic says it all, what boost can be run on stock map sensor before I should be upgrading?

MAP sensors are cheap. The stock cant handle anything past 5 psi i think. So just purchase a better one.

Stock map sensor only reads up to 6.72 psi. I am boosted (supercharger) but my tune is scaled off the MAF so I still have the stock MAP sensor.

Yea im just going to buy the delicious tuning 11psi map sensor its only $65 since i wont be running more than 10psi

What's it for? You should run a properly spec'd MAP sensor on a turbo, it's not at all required for SC applications and is known to cause issues on some of them.

I'm running a custom sourced turbo my uncle put together for me, he's a mechanic in the military and fabed everything up for me as far as piping and I'll just be running a t3 turbo until I get forged internals later on to run a bigger turbo with more boost. Won't be for another year or so

I prefer map sensors because read the pressure on the intake manifold
