Vinyl sticker ghost removal

I have an old ghost of a dealership decal on my trunk... Anyone have an easy removal process?

Peel manually then detailer & clay bar.
I removed a lot of vinyl from my car with 0 scratches this way.
A little heat before you peel helps.

If they're really cooked on or metallic, 3M pin stripe removal wheel will save you hours. Polish & re-wax will be required though.

Wax and grease remover works well and mild. Need to wax the area after like . tcoat posted

I had great results with automotive goo gone when I removed my FRS badge from the trunk. Also cleaned some window stains windex and other glass cleaners couldn't.

Once you think you have the spirit exercised...er, the ghosting removed, wet the area down. I had a dealer sticker on my truck, that they removed, and I didn't notice it until the truck was wet. I buffed, until it wouldn't show up again, when wet.

Once you make the final payment on the loan, the ghost will inexplicably disappear.


However, in extreme cases, customers must wait for any remaining warranty coverage to expire as well.
