Anyone have hood wrapped? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I have been thinking about buying a black or carbon fiber hood for my silver FR-S for a while now but the cost is crazy. Then I thought about just wrapping my hood black instead. Has anyone else done this? If so how does it look and if you need to remove it will it damage the paint?

The first link mostly shows what the carbon fiber wrap looks like. I am looking for black wrap. Also I wanted to see what the different combos look like. Having the hood, roof, trunk, spoiler, side mirrors....etc done. Not sure what should be done. The biggest issue is that I want to see it on a silver FR-S if possible. The second link was very helpful though. Thanks.

Look at my profile pic. I've switched to a CF hood but i went with a gloss black wrap for the hood for a few months. The nice thing is it acted like a clear bra so it protected my hood from rocks and the like.
