OFT stolen.. can I unmarry with new OFT?

So I have a customer who's car got broken into.. they stole his oft, but I have his original rom saved.. if he gets another OFT, is it possible to unmarry and or flash?

New oft will marry up to your car fine, however your current rom likely a tujed rom will become the original rom stored in oft. So if you inmarry the new oft your car will go back to its current tuned state.

if you need a stock rom for dealer visits i have most of them and you can just load a stock one into a tune slot on oft and get it to stock that way. but that wont get you arround the unmarry issue

Flash the original ROM back with Tactrix and ECUFlash.

Then you can marry the new OFT.

Hopefully you have Tactrix or can borrow one for this purpose 😐

I have his original tune saved on my laptop*
so it looks like all he needs is a new oft than
