logging Perrin big MAF

Hey everyone. I am no expert and looking at a little insight as im beginning to learn MAF scaling. Last night i just installed a 3in BIG MAF perrin CAI with Perrin silicone hose. I copied manually onto my OFT the perrin supplied scaling. i put in only the g/s in the MAF scaling on rom raider and uploaded the tune. I then began driving around and logged half my morning commute. i gave the ecu about 20 miles before i began to log. i wanted to see if you guys can take a look. looking at the LTFT, and certain spikes on STFT i need to scale my MAF. but i would like opinion and your views. i have OFH, motiv up pipe and front pipe, stock catback, perrin BIG MAF with silicone hose. and running 93 Octane (NYC winterlbend haha) on shivs 93 Octane Latest tune. I am NOT running the specific OFH tune as i want to scale MAF perfect before i switch to that tune in the spring. BTW with stock intake and Perrin silicone my fuel trims were +-7% i have 0 LEAKS, everything is running perfect i have already checked.

sorry for the long post.

I am Here to learn. sorry if it upsets some of you knowledgable gentlemen.

I was thinking i think i need to increased MAF limit Maximum from 200.00 (g/s) to atleast 320.00 (g/s) as on the table for MAF sensor scaling goes all the way up to 315.860 (g/s) at MAf sensor 5 (v) ...

i havent done it but i think it just makes sense?

STFT doesn't matter but you do have some rather large LTFTs, so MAF scaling may be beneficial.

You only need to increase it if you're going above the limit. You won't hit 200g/s on an NA car.

THank you so much. I want to say i appreciate you dedicating your time and giving input on this board. you sent me the def so i can lower my initial start up. That saved me from having my neighbors kill me.

I will log again and attempt to set on VGI and rescale.

btw i love the sound of this intake! im attempting to learn as much possible with the OFT

+1 on what kodename47 said, the perrin supplied scaling is not the best and you will need to do your own scaling
