White Screen of Death???

Yesterday afternoon my 2016 FR-S (7500 miles) OEM screen turned white after I started the car and stayed like that for maybe 5 minutes on the way home from work. It finally "turned on" and came back to normal. My BT connected and everything was good. No big deal, I guess.

This morning everything worked fine on the way to work. I use BT to stream podcast 99% of the time. It connected and all was good.

Leaving work today, after starting the car my screen is pure white. The BT connects and plays my podcast like normal. I can change the volume and switch between podcasts. But it's still a white screen. I'm assuming all other controls would work too if I could see what's happening on the screen. But it's just white.

I'd tried searching for "white screen" in this sub but got nowhere. Any Ideas?

Update: Same white screen this morning after sitting in the garage last night but came on after a mile or so down the road.

Your dealership should give you a warranty replacement on it if they can't fix it.

But I'd have a better solution, if you're into viral videos, I'd make one of a deinstallation of the Subaru OEM radio and what to do with it, that is:

take it to the range and use it for target practice

thermite fun

acid test

drop test etc

After my OEM radio deprogrammed itself after a battery reset and dealership denied me a replacement that's what I should have done. I moved on and bought a cheap Sony replacement, much better.

Oh, it's going to the dealer on Monday for sure. Just wondered if anyone has experienced this.
