Shipping pucks

My BRZ is lowered 2" and needs to be dragged out to California. It's hard to get out of the driveway so that's worrisome.

Dealerships toss what would be useful shipping pucks which slide in the springs as part of the invoice process. I called my local dealership who I thought were cool and they can't help due to liability.

Any idea how I can get my hands on 4? Thanks.

I have so many questions I don't know where to begin.....

"Dragged" as in driven or trailered?

Why not just take a rental car and keep the miles off your brz?

Why not just purchase some if you really want to go that route? A quick google search brought up a few different brands.

Do you want to risk driving across the country with the pucks in your springs? I hope not......

Why would you try to drive a car cross country if you already have trouble getting it out of your driveway? Depending on the route you take you could run into worse weather/road conditions that your car might physically not be able to overcome.

Sorry for not providing much help, but I just feel there has to be a better way to go about this. Maybe even just flying

Presume he is trucking it. The problem with that drop is getting it on and off of the truck.

Rubber spacers only run about $10 or so each and would be a good investment to have in the car in case it ever needs to be towed anyway.

That's what I'm hoping as well but then why not just write trucking/shipping so we would know for sure

Are there springs that lower 2"? I thought you could only get that kind of drop from coilovers. If so, why not raise your car? It would only cost time, probably the same amount of time it would take to install the "shipping pucks". Just sayin...

My RSR that have a nominal drop of 1.6" are actually much closer to 2" so ya spring can go that far.

Inserting pucks or rubber spacers take about 5 minutes a wheel. Just jack it up until all weight is off and wedge them in. NOT a good idea for driving though!

Yep, a couple of 8' x 6" pieces of lumber, plus a couple of blocks should get it up onto a truck or trailer ......

Coached two Pee Wee hockey teams... And I would recommend catching a San Diego Gulls game to anyone looking for a fun, cheap outing!
