You need to have access to the car to unmarry it. Better find the person you sold it to.

IIRC there should also be a way to unmarry if you contact OFT support, but that marrying to ECU it was used on bit is there exactly to not allow usage of oft to tune multiple cars simultaneously, which in this case will happen, as there is OFT tune on car you sold, +it will be on car of next owner you'll sell OFT if manage to unmarry. So it's up to you if you'll be able to convince them to help in your case, as it's not their obligation to help in this case, at most only their goodwill, as two cars tuned with one OFT will mean lost sale of another OFT.
As others mentioned, best bet would be contact new owner of car and convince him to get standard tune, so that you can unmarry & sell OFT. But he may not agree on that too. Yes, it might be expensive forgetfulness mistake then, but not sure it's in OFT interests to loose sales & help against their policies. How about you trying to sell OFT to that new owner? Maybe not at full price used OFTs come at classifieds, but it's better then loosing all it's value, no? |
