driver side headlight doesn't have squirrel finder tab?
So I got a set of HIDs and installed them and I even attempted to bend the sf down a bit. Passenger side sf I was able to push down a bit. But on the driver side light it seems to be missing the sf?? I look inside and there is no tab to see or to feel like on the passenger side. I didn't think too much of it but now I'm noticing that the clear coat on my driver side headlight is starting to peel off while my passenger side clear coat looks perfectly fine.
So my question is, would the light beaming through the headlight (without the sf shield) effect the outer clear coating of the headlight? And why would only one of my headlights Come with a sf🤔🤔 |

I wouldn't even bother with HIDs if the projectors haven't been retrofitted for HIDs. Just go ahead and buy H11 Phillips Diamond Vision bulbs. You will still get exotic white light with a slight hint of blue.

Probably because you wouldn't want that light being reflected up into oncoming traffic...

Yeah I get that the driver side headlight should less to not bother drivers when you're behind them. but my driver side is the side that is actually brighter than the passenger side. The passenger side has the sf tab so why wouldn't the driver side not have it as well?
Edit : just found out from doing some more digging around that there is a screw on the headlights I could try adjusting maybe that'll fix why the passenger side angle looks so much lower. Second edit : spent a good hour adjusting with the screw by the bulb. Pretty satisfied with how they look now. Had a friend drive Infront of me at night as well and told me no glaring so that's good.
