Electric PS Settings?

Is there any adjustment available controlling the weight of the electric power steering? I know many features on the car can be adjusted using a laptop to adjust the computer default settings. I find the power steering a little too heavy for my taste. I wish it was 10% to 20% lighter. What do you-all think? Thanks.

I would recommend lighter wheels for a lighter steering feel. Also, you can play around with tire pressure. The higher the tire pressure, the lighter the steering wheel will feel. Stock psi is 35 cold. Try upping it to 37 PSI and see if that helps.

What wheel specs and what tires do you have? With my snow tires (205/50/17 Hankook iPike RS) on stock wheels the steering feel is way too light for my taste, but with the summer wheels/tires (17x8 +45 and 225/45/17 AD08R's) it's much better.

If your width and/or offset is much different than stock, or you're running stickier tires, it'll greatly increase steering effort.

Pretty much this. My steering feels uncomfortably light for the first week or so in the winter. My 17x9 +35 wheels with 245/40 tires in the summer is just about bang on for what I like.

Do you have stupid heavy wheels?

As for your actual question, I haven't ever seen it come up on here. My best advice would be to find someone local to you who has tech stream or call your dealer and find out.
