Check all bolts and nuts and tighten, including sway bar endlinks.

What I have found on the front end is you need to get the wheels off and remove all pre-load from the end links and then re-tighten the nuts. If you don't have adjustable end links then jack up the lower suspension arm a little. If the swaybar stud nuts are loose and there is tension on the end links it will not be evident that they are loose. After torqueing the nuts you can add a little tension to the end links (assuming they are adjustable). Once back on the ground I like zero pre-load at normal ride height. DP

Just to check that it isn't coil binding (it is the wrong term, but been used in the industry for a long time).
Basically if there isn't some type of "relieve" for the springs to allow it to turn, it will twist on itself and "pop" back out making a noise.

There are a few fix for something like this, but the most common fix is having a type of roller bearing either on the springs or the spring cap.

Just another thing to check, what coilovers is it?

100% this. If it happens when turning the wheel, it's from the spring not rotating freely on the strut body.

It should turn as the wheels turn. The bottom of the strut is fixed to the knuckle which turns with the wheel, and the top is fixed to the body which doesn't turn. Stock there's a bearing in the upper spring perch to allow this movement, most coilovers don't have the bearing so the spring will "bind" as the strut rotates.

Something like this will fix it, just make sure it's the same diameter as the spring... the one in the link is just the first one I found.

Interesting product. I wonder if it would have helped if using them together with whiteline's com c tophats, where their own bearings often failed.

Just need something that will rotate freely.
We try everything before, WD40, white lithium grease... nothing really fix the issue once the weight of the car is on the springs.

The only thing that fix it is a PROPER roller bearing.
So have Koyo bearing press into all the springs cap of MeisterR coilovers as standard on all McPherson Strut model.

A simple and easy fix to avoid noise.
Because having a "popping" noise everything you are trying to park your car is just not cool.

You need a flat surface on the top of the spring for them to work, and the stock springs definitely aren't flat at the top.

That's definitely the proper fix, but the torrington bearings are cheaper/easier if someone already has upper spring seats without bearings.
