header heat shields
by not mounting toyota header with anti coating heat instead of mounting heat shields?
coating anti heat aftermarket header is not enough to isolate the heat? Header coating increases temperature in engine compartment? |

Header coatings do not do much for temperature reduction (if anything at all). If you want to lower engine bay temperatures you are going to want to wrap them with header wrap. Pros are reduced engine bay temps and increased exhaust velocity due to higher temps inside them, Cons are reduced header lifespan and possible safety issue if oil ever spills on the wrap and the wrap isn't replaced.

Your engine bay temperatures will drop, but it does not mean your engine bay will be completely cool simply because you have heat radiating from various components in the engine bay including the engine and the radiator. Our Trackspec Vents have also proven to be incredibly effective in this case. With a large pressure differential, the vents allow the high pressure air in the engine bay to vent properly into ambient, thereby, exhausting the heat from the engine bay. The result is a very cool engine bay compared to without ventilation. |

My Doubt is:
if header aftermarket assemble ceramic coating (example JDL or similar), the heat is less or the worst case, equal to header header? I would not like it to be more heat. When you say "our product" to which product you mean? |

No OEM headers will produce less heat then aftermarket ones with a coating I would think. The difference should be small though |

Just wrap them and replace your headers when they crack
That's what I do

Please also note that if tuning is done improperly, the header may heat up substantially due to higher exhaust temps. A good tune goes a long way as well.
