LED stripe doesn't turn on on my FR-S

Bought this FR-S last week and just noticed mine doesn't turn on, is it burned or what?

Mine is the right one.

It doesn't turn on when your headlights are on. Or when your parking brake is on. Or when you're in park.

Welcome to ye ol forum............

I'd suggest you first check the fuse.

Then check for a bad connection/ground.

Is it just one side that isn't working .. ??

Both sides don't work. Maybe it's what Cole said.

It is what Cole said.
Look in glovebox.
Find book in a case.
Read said book.
Many mysteries will be explained.

^Yup. Those are Winjets, I have them on mine and the LED strips are for DRL only. They also should illuminate when you flip on your highbeams. I believe there is an always on module made by Diode Dynamics that you can purchase if you want them on with headlights turned on as well.

I thought they were Monogram lights. Oh well, still read the book since it still talks about DRLs..

You can tell they are Winjets due to the black housing and metallic ring around the headlight. Winjet also makes a chrome version to look more OEM but you can still tell the difference based on the color of a little triangle at the bottom that OEM leaves black whereas it will be all chrome on the Winjets.

These still function the same as OEM though.

OP - have someone get in the car and act like they are going to drive it away. You will see the lights come on.

I did the same thing. Every time I got out to look they weren't on. Pull into a garage or against a wall and you will see them.
