HELP! 3rd Brake Light Question!?!?

hey guys i bought the spyder 3rd brake light kit which looks and works beautifully. ive had it for a while now and i was wondering if there was a way to hook it up so that its on with my running lights, then gets brighter when i brake just like how your taillights would work. i am not the most educated on car mechanics or electronics but i'm a large enthusiast and do like to do all my own work regardless if i know how or not.. only one way to find out right? so i could've just asked a dealership or shop to try and do it but i have trust issues leaving my car in someone else's hands (bad experiences, regardless if its my fr-s or my corolla) and i cant learn if someone else does it behind closed doors in a shop. i don't post often so please, troll lightly... any help is greatly appreciated and i'm always down for a good laugh so im not saying no trolling at all... just if at least one person can give me a straight answer the rest of you can go nuts! haha thanks guys/gals

From what I've found online the light you have is a 2 wire, one ground, one power. This only gives on/off. You will need a three wire (two separate power leads) and dual mode bulb for this. You can change to marker only by moving the red to tap the marker light. I installed a kit from iJDMToy (SKU: 75-224) that had the dim/bright mode. You just tap dim to the marker and bright to the brake in the taillight. (full disclosure: not affiliated with any MFG. Just did some taillight mods)
