Kraftwerks Sandwich Plate Adapter

Here's my back story TLDR;

bought sandwich plate, had no instructions and over torqued o-ring completely screwed it up and my fault with installation error the first time so I will admit that. I called them ordered 5 more o-rings just to be sure I had enough, AND they gave me the instructions so I didn't screw it up. Got the new o-rings in and all five of them leaked...

emailed kraftwerks and went back and forth with CJ to confirm a few things and they sent me out a brand new one sandwich plate, great customer service, got nothing to complain there.

But, looking for some input here. Has anyone else had this problem? I know of TWO others that do. There is one person on the forums here who did and there is another guy on the facebook group for our supercharger kits that have this. I want to create a document and have a listing of all the issues with their sandwich plate so I can take this to kraftwerks and let them know they are having a wide well known issue with their adapter plates and o-rings failing. There just has to be more than 3 people having the same issues. Feel free to post pics too.

Lastly, this is by no means, bashing the company. They are great and their customer service really is phenomenal. But I want to do some research and get to the bottom of this sandwich plate adapter.

I have the beatrush sandwich plate adapter. For a long time I didn't see any leaks. Just recently I have noticed a tiny amount of oil, not enough that I am worried about

You should not have any leaks. If you do, you're losing pressure and oil for it. Not worth the cooling benefits if that's what the problem is. Is your leak coming from the oil filter to plate, or plate to base?

A dry oring during install will do this. Use a shit ton of oil to stop it from grabbing and ripping. This doesnt just apply to these plates.

Leak is coming from the o-ring. which is where the sandwich adapter meets the block. Ever since my experience with it happening my oil cooler has been disconnected.

I don't think you understood my opening background statement. The first time was a mistake and I did exactly that. But then I ordered FIVE more o-rings from them. All of them ripped, after following precise instructions and lubing the o-ring just like I would when putting an oil filter on. and on top of that, one of my pictures clearly shows that the o-ring is too big for the machined groove.

I had the same issue with my Perrin Sandwich plate. I think the torque was like only 25lbs i was over torquing the bolt. Don't quote me on the torque because it was like 3 years ago when i did it and haven't hand any issues since.
