2017 Dealership Lot Pictures
Brought my '15 in for it's first service today and to my surprise there was two '17 BRZs on the lot.
Some things to note are that it still has prius tires, there's a "BRZ" engraved onto the headlight projector just like the 86. Wanted to share some pics with you guys so here they are: http://imgur.com/a/fJ67d |

Those sure are some dirty lookin' tires for a car that just rolled off the truck probably lol glad to see them hit the lots finally. Must be good for those preordering in Canada to see theirs before us in the U.S.

I already love what they've done to the spoiler. More serviceable and functional.

Later MY's will just get better and better. Id rather wait for a much longer list of improvements between my model and the next one I buy then what we see in the MY17's.

Too many concepts with very little substance to ever come to fruition. The moment that happens you can bet everyone will not hesitate to make the jump. Unfortunately, this is as close to the STi concept in terms of its appearance I think we are gonna get for at least 2-3 years. It's been discussed for years if we'll ever even sniff a factory turbo on this car. Will we get what we want? Maybe, but probably not. If they're serious about bringing the STi to the BRZ it'll probably be only in the form of aesthetic bits and pieces as a "series.whatever". That's just my guess. I won't reiterate the facts of the car being what it already is. I just think waiting for the unicorn is a waste of time when I can have my immediate and temporary fun now. If it comes out, I'm not gonna be kickin' myself for not waiting. I will get it one way or another if it is a must have. If say the true next gen BRZ rolls around and it's still NA, I'm not going to be disappointed either. I only expect Subaru to make improvements based on feedback anyways. Something better is always gonna be on the horizon for any product you buy in life. So get it now or get it later, no difference to me. Win-win for all 👍🏼 |

I agree I've been waiting for an STI version since 2012, I'm tired of waiting so I'm just planning on getting a 2017, at least this one has some significant changes for the first time.

Aside from the rear diff ratio and ascetics none of the upgrades will really effect the every day driver much. Im still happy with my lightly modded 2013

There have been many a great car that were "improved" right out of existence. There are no guarantees that MYs will get better. It is always a gamble to wait. The bright spot is that if they decline instead of improve you still have the prior models to chose from.
