The individual income/salary poll
So, I'm curious: for everyone that seriously intends to buy this car, how much they make a year. (Individually, if you want to post family/household income do it below or start another poll)
Especially if you plan to buy it brand new (any year that it comes out). Unfortunately, for consistency sake, I'm using USD. (Please feel free to post what you do for a living) Note: Results are private, if you are worried.

$150K-$250K is a pretty big gap, but it should be general enough for this poll. Maybe you should add a "student" option, because I'm sure most of the < $19K are probably in school.

I know some people that make $40,000 a year and are full time students. Having a student option would just be ambiguous. If you're a student and make less than $19,999 or make no money at all, which is $0, which is still less than $19,999, then the option still fits. The $150k gap is big but on most polls I viewed the only people voting in that area were counting their household income, not individual. I also was worried about having too many options lol

Why it has to do with FT-86? It's too personal to ask here. Admin should move this to off topic.
Anyway, I work for my mom doing her business and I work part time as a chef assistance/chef. Again, this has nothing to do with FT-86. |

Because I'm mostly interested in the people planning on buying the FT-86... I guess it could go in either forum.

This is the second or third thread where you are asking marketing projection questions.. Ok so here it is. I make more than enough but that's not the point. I will not pay 50kaud for this car, it's simply not worth it. Fuck I wouldn't pay over 35k AUD most likely..

Toyota just sucks to think I would pay over 21K for a Scion( if it's the case). I would pay 30K for Turbo and Toyota emblem tho( include decent handling and fuel efficient).

+1 It bad to talk about salary in between co-workers so how much more posting it up on an open forum. If folks are ok with advertising how much they make then by all means, go ahead.

No. I was in the If the FT-86 is a fail...what will you do? thread and surprised at the choices some people would make if they changed their minds.
Some of the cars seemed really expensive so I was curious about what people here really make. Quote:

I also fail to see how you can compare this to salary discussion among co-workers. That is a company policy where your boss doesn't want you upset that your co-workers make more than you, and they don't want to worry about paying everyone more money. How is that ANYTHING like being curious what the average poster on a forum that plans to buy the same car makes in a year, with no personal information?

If you're not discussing compensation with coworkers you're arguably playing into the company's hands.
