Heres a good one for you

Little background real quick. At 18,000 miles my rocket arm decided ti shoot through the side of the motor creating a massive hole on the side and then the motor lost all oil and created a rod knock.
After arguing with the dealership i finally got a new shortblock.
Now at 22,000 miles i was coming home and gave the car gas in 3rd and towards the top of the rpm range the car created a loud poping noise and now has a massive ticking noise coming from the motor i believe. No cel

Listen for yourself. Any imput would be nice. Sorry if it doesnt come as a link.

Well, now, that doesn't sound good at all......

My first guess is that something has come lose in the valve train of your engine.

My second guess is that your engine has an unhappy rod bearing.

My third guess would be a blown DI seal.

Any way, I doubt its an easy fix.
