Negative Camber!

New to this. I just recently got new tires for my 2016 Frs i have 225 on the front tires and 245 on the back tires and got an allignment. They recommended me to go from 0.7 to -1 camber on the front for better performance and i already had -2.6 on the back tires. How long before they go bald?

You need to reverse the front and rear numbers. I'm running 2.0 in the front and 1.5 in the rear. 0 toe al around. So much grip.

Not all tires are made the same.
No one drives the same.

djliquidsteele: you missed that he runs staggered tire setup. Probable reason why he has to workaround grip bias being out of whack in other ways. Your suggestion would be normal for sane normal square setup. As for the OP, i guess it's better to evaluate on the track yourself what you don't like and how you wish to change. Or go to some very competent suspension shop that would know how to compensate changes induced by your wheel/tire choice in best way. Or ignore, as you probably went for staggered due looks, so why would you care about performance/handling?
Not getting bald tires question bit. Depends on what tire type, how your drive. Only thing that was specified, was tire width & camber spec. Well, for what it's worth, often camber is not called as affecting wear much, it's toe that wears 'em noticeably quicker.

camber doesn't kill tires; toe kills tires.

that being said, your camber numbers are pretty mild.

I'm guessing you are lowered to have -2.6 rear?

And how are they recommending adding camber to the front? Stock height I got -1.5 out of the stock camber bolt. Strange they are recommend 0.7 to 1? Please explain

I run -1.5 on the front and -2.5 in the back. Like KCH said, camber doesn't ruin tires. You should be fine at -1 in the front.
