One more at the moment: CXRacing makes several inexpensive hardware-only kits, from mounts to headers.

Vorshlag does good work, but their kit is yet unreleased. They've had issues integrating the ECU for a little over a year now.

WGP will give you the hardware, but has a bad history with quality control and post-purchase support, and they don't have a real solution for engine management or integration with the stock systems / CANBUS.

At the moment, the only real options for intergration and engine management are Motec and Emtron. Emtron is reasonably priced.

There are no off-the-shelf wiring solutions, despite the half-truths you may get from WGP.

There are several companies working on CANBUS "translators" to use OEM ECU's, but none are ready.

Dang ok thanks for help. Ignoring ecu / wiring troubles is the wgp hard parts at least good quality? I don't mind worrying about wiring later in fact I'm fine with doing a connect and cruise setup using gm ecu and throttle pedal if I have to. But cannot stand cheap or non fitment of hard parts. Make sense?

Makes sense. If you're willing to connect and cruise, just understand that many systems will not work.

A few major ones; ABS, VSC, airbags, and Power Steering.

People have reported problems with the WGP kit, including bad fitment, and said that WGP will not fix, replace, or support bad quality parts.

The CX parts are not known for overwhelming quality, but at least one member on the forum owns the kit and has nothing bad to say.

They used his car to design the kits...

If I wanted good quality off-the-shelf parts I'd wait for vorshlag to release their hard parts. They have said they will release them whether or not the ECU solution is ready, and sell a hard parts only kit.

That said, I don't buy many off-the-shelf parts so I give sh*t advice about them.

Just information. Do with it as you please.

I don't have a shop to fab stuff or have easy access to one. I at least need engine and tranny mounts from a kit and anything else that is one off or specific to an ls in brz like drive shaft or shifter mount kit. I wish there was a solid option for these kinds of swap like the Honda community has Hasport. That would be ideal. There is a shop where I could drop everything off at and pick the car up 6 months later done but to me that is the fun part - putting it all together.

Although Vorshlag and I have split company under what you might say " not the best of circumstances "......as i was the alpha customer for their kit, I could throw some dirt at them but I cant because it was for personal reasons.....professionally you wont find a better kit than theirs.....or ever will in my opinion. This is what they do,......and have done for quite awhile now. Im no longer a Vorshlag cheerleader but i got to call a spade a spade.

Maybe see if you can order the mounts (+ other fab parts?) from Vorshlag and do the rest yourself. I made my own engine mounts but they were modeled after photos of Vorshlag. I may have even bought theirs but they were still developing the kit at the time. I think if you acquire all parts that require fabrication you should be able to do the rest yourself.

No way I've been doing tons of swaps starting in 1999. All out of my 3 car garage house with basic air tools, engine hoist and engine stands. I always do cars that have decent support like the last one I did was 350z ls3 using sikky kit. It was painless. Didn't have to make anything in a shop.

Anyway I called weapons grade performance last night to ask questions and guy named Doug answered. That's when it dawned on me that I was talking to a guy that goes by Doug@wgp on the gtr forums and in the gtr community Doug and wgp have great rep so im a little surprised it's not the same here.
