So in January Top Gear online reviewed the car.. That was 7 months ago.... I've google searched, ive used our forum search, ive youtubed so dont noob me u turds......

Is there any word of them actually reviewing on the show.... This car has been so much hype, reviews by everyone else.... Can anyone shed some light???.....

You have to wait and see pretty much. Next season starts soon or in the fall. Then the winter season. I imagine if they were going to do it, it'd be during one of those seasons. Clarkson would just dog it anyway because it needs "More power" which is what he's all about.

There will not be a new series of Top Gear until 2013. It has been confirmed by Jeremy Clarkson that the hit BBC2 motoring show will not return to the nation’s television screens until next year due to “boring reasons.”

The outspoken lead presenter took to his Twitter account to break the news, saying, “Pay attention. There will be no Top Gear until next year. Boring reasons.”

Clarkson’s latest comments follow his previous tweets in suggesting that it’d be a while before the trio of presenters – including his colleagues Richard Hammond and James May – would return with a new series of the show.

Back in May this year Clarkson outlined, again via Twitter that, “there’s a rumour in internet land that there will be no more Top Gear this year. I’m afraid that apart from an Xmas Special, it’s true.”
In his usual pithy style the Yorkshire man suggested rival TV programs were the reason for Top Gear’s postponed return, adding “Would love to be back in the Autumn but Sunday nights will be full of fat people singing” – a reference to Simon Cowell’s X Factor show.

It now appears that initial rumours surrounding the delayed return of TG to TV were correct. In a battle to keep ratings for the long-running program high, the BBC could move the show from its traditional autumn slot to a January window. However, it has not yet confirmed when a new series of the motoring program will make its arrival in 2013. Still, we can look forward to the Christmas special.

I typically download episodes of TG fairly quickly after they initially air in the UK. I've seen every episode since they restarted the show many years go.

The moment I see it I will post it here...but we won't be seeing new episodes until January. My bet, they're going to hit on this car very early in the next season(series).... This is the sort of thing they'll love. If not for what it is then for what it means.

Im glad i made the thread... Thanks..... Sucks itll be so long til it comes out but i knew someone here would know something... Clarkson does like HP but he wont be meeting this car with that expectation.... I think ull be surprised DENKIGRVE......

I bet the delay is due to Clarkson's issues with his first wife - there have been tons of press around it. Let's hope the trio stays together - if one of them goes away, the show is basically over.

Hammond and Clarkson will both love how agile it is and how much it wants to go sideways; though Clarkson will dislike it's lack of power. May will absolutely hate it because it was developed for the Nurburgring.

Not necessarily. Clarkson absolute loved the RX-8 when he tested it back in 2002/2003 and I think the power to weight ratio are pretty similar between the RX-8 and GT86/FR-S.
