Log in as administrator, go to the c:\openflash directory and delete everything in it including the directory iself.

go to openflash.com downloads and download the latest ofm software and install, make sure your administrator , should be good

plug in oft and let it update while connected to internet

Thanks steve.. I was already using an administrator account but still popping error upon update...

I tried opening the PWGPro application which made the tablet do some upgrade and including the firmware. then afterwards i opened the OFM application and the update went well. For those other users having trouble with the update, try doing what i did hopefully it will get fixed too.

Well, it might happen the PC/laptop drivers are not updated so update them as it is found that the problem is related to the outdated drivers. Apart from that run the SFC scan, this helps you to repair the corrupted system files just by scanning once.

To update the drivers easily make use of the driver Booster to update them automatically
