Can you fit a set of wheels and tires inside a FT86?

Can you fit a set of wheels and tires inside a FT86?

If you were buying a set or bringing them to the track, can you fit a set of 4 inside the car? One in the trunk, two with the seat folder down, one in the front seat???

Thanks

Yes it was purposely designed for that.

If you fold the rear seats down, you can fit all 4 without using the trunk.

Thanks, I thought I remembered reading about that when the car first came out, but wasn't sure. I have only had it for about 5 months.

LOL. Next time I will google it. I transported 4-17" mustang rims to sell them to someone, it just didn't look like there was that much more room if they had tires. Now that I see you have to stack them it makes sense, but as to other threads I found on this forum, not sure how safe that is in the end.

If you fold the rear seat down you can stack the wheels with mounted tires 2 behind drivers seat and 2 behind passenger seat with no impact on trunk space. This assumes the stock wheels and tires. They just (barely) fit - per design.

I do this twice a year when I have my local tire shop swap winter/summer wheels.
