Leather shifter boot/sock thing coming out. Fix?

Had the car for a week and I guess I didnt notice this while test driving it, but now the leather around the shifter is pretty much off the base.

Really annoying and bad looking.

Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

Take to dealer. I just took apart my center and re-inserted it. It's easy.

Dude your car is brand new, just take it to dealer to get it fix. Any interior accessory is covered for the first 30k miles i think.

Look at the right side of the boot. See the cut/dimple? Something hit it hard and unseated it.

Edit: Or somebody tried to push it back in with a screwdriver.

But why?

If I decided to be a huge fuck boy and do that to my car, people wouldn't ask me "Why do you drive an auto?" and then I wouldn't be able to say "I don't need to drive stick to prove I have one"

Take it to the dealership. That's what warranty is all about.
