Had the car for a week and I guess I didnt notice this while test driving it, but now the leather around the shifter is pretty much off the base.

Really annoying and bad looking.

Has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

Take to dealer. I just took apart my center and re-inserted it. It's easy.

Lol thats probably best, shouldnt be too hard of a fix, u think they can just put it on or replace the whole unit?

How the hell.... Guess defect from factory?

Dude your car is brand new, just take it to dealer to get it fix. Any interior accessory is covered for the first 30k miles i think.

Look at the right side of the boot. See the cut/dimple? Something hit it hard and unseated it.

Edit: Or somebody tried to push it back in with a screwdriver.

Re-wrap the boot over top of those auto indicators, no one will ever know.

But why?

If I decided to be a huge fuck boy and do that to my car, people wouldn't ask me "Why do you drive an auto?" and then I wouldn't be able to say "I don't need to drive stick to prove I have one"

Take it to the dealership. That's what warranty is all about.

MisterSheep 04-26-2016 12:39 PM
