Thumbs up MeisterR ZetaCRD+ Coilovers pictures and contents

A few ask us what does the MeisterR ZetaCRD+ looks like for the FR-S / BRZ
So I thought I post a few pictures up.





Several features of the MeisterR ZetaCRD+ Coilovers:
*Barrel (MiniBlock) front springs allow more springs travel as well as ride height adjustment range.
*Rear rubber insulated press steel top mount helps reduce suspension noise associated with the chassis.

All coilovers comes with a pair of our UK patent pending laser cut C-spanner, adjustable drop links, and nuts/bolts mounting hardware.

Those front springs look a bit wider than most, any issues with people who want to get coilovers for aggressive wheel fitment in terms of rubbing?

Something like 17x9 +45 on 245/40

They are only wider by a little bit, the max width is 115mm.
They are probably no wider than most OEM springs, and most of that springs will be out of the way anyways.

Clearance was a concern I had during the designing phase.
But for the amount of spring travel we need, a normal straight linear springs could reach coil bind.
That is not good for performance, and it isn't a risk we like to take.
Which is why we custom coil this miniblock springs to our specific springs rate for the FR-S / BRZ application.

I'm looking into these coils. My friends on the Z34 platform keep raving about them. I use my car for some daily driving but also a fair bit of track/autocross/drifting...so performance is important to me. SO important that I'm often willing to sacrifice daily driving comforts for it.

Have you had any feedback in regards to the coils in more intense HPDE settings?

I wonder how these compare to the St xta coils. Those are at the top of my list now (German, and I've had great experience with them on 2 cars now), but also 40% more expensive. I'll bee looking out for those reviews! I'm not buying til spring time so I've got some time haha

Interested, how many inches will these drop? What are their spring rate? I'm planning to have my fender meet my tires but need stiffer spring so it won't rub

The standard springs rate are designed for fast road usage as well as occasional track use.
They will be perfectly fine as a dual purposes suspension.

For those seeking better all around performance, we do have the MeisterR GT1 coilovers.
These are custom build, and are design to rival the like of Ohlins DFV in performance as a multi-role street / track car.

Using the adjustable top mount and the slotted bolt hole in the lower bracket.
You should have no problem getting about -2.5 degree camber on the front.
If you want more, i can see if any of the race people run a bit more, but generally speaking that is more than enough for most application.

Dropping 2" shouldn't be a problem.
Springs rate are front 5kg/mm, rear 4kg/mm
The main concern is that we design the ZetaCRD+ as a performance suspension, so the suspension need to move to perform.

We are looking at possibility making a more track focused suspension setup with stiffer springs rate and damping, but that might not be very comfortable to use on bumpy uneven road surfaces.
However, that is only at the planning stage at this moment.

Anyone have any rubbing issue when they lower it to 2 inch and running wheel fitment? I'm looking to purchasing this or ST suspension.

I was going to get st xta also but I just got meisterR in and jeez glad I did no rubbing man I'm mad low as the coilover goes and the thing is still damn comfortable lol when I stiffen it up it rides like a track car it's amazing aside from that xta cost 1440 while meister cost 995 aside from that their wrench... works like a champ without a slip

To be honest, everyone will be in the same shoe.
The suspension have to move in order to work, if your wheel don't clear the fender and you hit a bump, it is going to rub rather it is MeisterR, ST, or Ohlins.

There are a lot of variable, but there are also a lot of adjustments on the MeisterR.
The dual perch setup so you can adjust springs pre-load independently from ride height really start to show it's benefit the lower you go with the car.

Thanks jerrick. Lately I couldn't make up my mind , does it come with camber plates and etc or do I use the oem top Mount for the front?
