Whiteline Com 'C' Strut Mounts
I remember a while back people having problems with these clunking and popping. Does anyone know if Whiteline ever fixed that issue? I think it was related to the open bearings they were using.

As far as I remember reading in other threads, they gave up and pulled the plug on those...

I noticed that FT86speedfactory still has them on their site. Maybe you should contact them to see if they have any in stock.

They changed the bearing, but it didn't fix the issue. They actually sent me a new set with a couple machined washers that they said they were testing. I didn't want to go through the hassle of swapping them to only have issues again so I went with HVT mounts and haven't had any problems.
I still have the Comp-C's NIB if anyone is interested. Otherwise, was just going to throw them up on Nasioc for a WRX/Impreza owner instead. |

I think its bearing axis should be inclined somewhat.
I've tried conical washers but bearings failed in the same way. |

They still make them, but don't list them for the FRS/BRZ. They don't have issues on the impreza chassis, but something about the strut angle on these cars doesn't play nice with the bearing.

I managed to get wished camber & keep rubber top mounts via other means. -3 at stock height with camberbolts in both holes + powerflex bushing PFF69-801G. Pitty about no non failing bearings revision of compatible Com-Cs for twins, but i got what i wished at end.

What a shame. I’m considering group N rubber top hats but they do not have nearly the same benefits as a silent Com C would have.

One of the products we'd love to make is a long lasting fixed camber plate with some rubber for reasonable NVH. Got a couple other things in the pipeline in the meantime, but hopefully we can make something like that in the future.

I'd suggest just buying the RACESENG CASCAMs and be done with it. I have been through the COMCs previously and they never lasted.
