Updating the stock tune on the OFT
I took my car in for a service in late january and it seems they performed a ECU update to my vehicle during servicing. How do I update the stock rom on the OFT, do I unmarry and reread it? I have looked around the forum and the website it doesn't have any information regarding a new ecu firmware version.

You needed to unmarry it before the service. There's nothing you can do now, you'll have to email OFT support.

To do it you would need someone with a tactrix cable to reflash your new stock rom after you wrote it with oft. if you lived near me i would sort it for you. Its rearly not a huge deal as the oft tunes are based on the latest compatable rom for your car not necessaraly your original rom calid. The other alternative would be flash it back with oft , unmarry, then take car to another dealer get the update flashed then re marry oft to updated calid see the Tactrix link below for rom calid info and all the newer stock roms are attached to the post if you ever need one of them Quote:

I bought mine second hand. Is there a way to tell how many more times my unit can be unmarried?
