Talking SBD Turbo numbers?

Alright so I'm installing my SBD kit on good Friday. The plan for tuning is going with my OFT then possibly a few weeks after getting a dyno tune with EcuTek. I want to see some dyno numbers people are getting with this kit and if you could post what you're tuning it with that would be awesome!

Not sure if you're a member of their FB group or not, but I have seen numbers from 275whp and going up from there.

Depends on the dyno calibration and how much the tuner is willing to fudge the numbers. I've seen cars locally that have claimed 220kw at 7PSI and the quality tuner locally usually gets about 160-170 for kits like the stuff like SME and Full blown and 170-180 for the better options. The so called 220kw car then gets absolutely smashed by cars doing 50-60kw less. You can only compare numbers across one dyno and tuner because the car world is full of people making wild claims to people who don't know better.

Talking about dynojet numbers, around 280whp at 10psi for OFT(which all the kits are now at, unless you have been storing your kit for 5-6 months).

It's good to note that OFT no longer supplies a base tune that is good to beat on the car with. So unless you are just using the OFT tune to drive easy/drive it to the tuner, you will want/need to get a custom tune from Shiv.

A custom dyno tune will yield a bit more power, but you don't want to go too much further on pump gas with the kit. E85 is the way go for good/safe numbers

FWIW I made 217whp on 7psi with a superflow, which pretty much matched the 250whp Dynojet numbers the kit was rated for at 7psi.

Thanks for the answers! The local tuner uses a Dynapack DP4. I plan on running a OFT tune for about a week and then getting a dyno tune

Are you going to be using an ecutek tune? I don't think he will use any open source software ? Sorry just picking your brain.
