Will a Ram X-Grip stick to the rubbery dash of the BRZ
I have a Ram X-Grip phone mount adhered to the silver dash piece in my BRZ, right to the right of my GPS unit. It works great and it holds my phone just like i want it. I am now wanting to install another X-Grip to the top dash of my car, right to the left of my steering wheel. My concern is that the top dash pieces, the rubbery black dash material, will not hold the adhesive and fall off after the first major heat wave we get here in Texas.
Has anyone had experience with mounting devices to this surface, and if so, did you have any problems with it staying. The picture below is the mount i am talking about. Thanks for the help, Blake
