ECUTek ProECU Map Access disconnects frequently

Each time I flash my ECU with a new file I can't seem to keep the Map Access connected, it almost immediately disconnects, or if I press the throttle too much it disconnects. After a while 10-15min of driving it seems to stay connected longer, but never longer than a few minutes, or until I hold the throttle wide open for very long. When doing a run from 1st to 4th gear, I never am able to log past the top of 2nd gear because I get disconnected. It's annoying as hell! Has anyone had this problem?

I know the connector is so loose it just about falls out, but even sitting still and reving in neutral I get disconnected. Is there a fix?

Had the same issue, bought this

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0085WMKU8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailp age_o05_s00"]Amazon.com: Scan Tool Right Angle OBD II OBD 2 Male to Female Extension Cable 60cm/2': Automotive[/ame]

Hasn't been a problem since. I keep the connector in between the driver's seat and the center console and I've been able to log without issue for full trackday sessions.

something you want to fix, bad connections are major cause of flash fails and possibly bricked ecu.

try what previous guy said and maybe cable tie the right angle bit into car, then your not further wearing the car connector.

dont try flashing untill you have got a rock solid logging connection.
