Does this mean we should only add oil when the oil light comes on... If there is one. Lol

Subaru generally does not have washer fluid level lights in their cars which is interesting since they sell more in cold weather states than anywhere else. Although I've seen other makes have nothing but problems with the sensors.

Unexpectedly running out of washer fluid is normally not a big problem - in sunny climes. Ever run out of washer fluid in the winter when you need to de-ice the windshield, or when you need to clean off salt and grime? I have...not very fun, extremely dangerous in fact.
Umm...actually yes, I have...my old wrangler had a crack at the top of the bottle and I ran out plenty of times (location+tight budget=delayed repair). After about the third time I just started carrying a gallon with me and checking before major snows were moving into the area. It's called preparedness...

same here... I'll consider myself lucky that I live in CA, seriously in over 20 years of driving I have probably had to add water to the windshield washer fluid reservoir maybe twice. I do make it a habit to clean/squeegee the windshield at gas stations whenever possible and only use the washer nozzles when needed.

Does owners manuals tell you what the car doesn't come equipped with?

Let's get it over with, this was a friendly reminder, not a rant about stupid missing features..like we need more of those...like that thread about the bespoke not working with android..pff

It had NOTHING to do with "missing features" or "i'm whining because i ran out of fluid" or "my other car squirts better than you", yet you all have to make it a pissing match out of fucking nothing.
That's it. Blame it on Americans...
