Question Any experience with Lenso wheels?

I recently found a few lightweight wheels made by Lenso at a reasonable price, the D1R wheels. I personally love the BBS LM wheels, and the more affordable reps that are out there but they just weigh too much for me to justify putting them on my car. Does anyone have experience with Lenso wheels, or any pics of them on your car, even if it's not the FR-S? I can't seem to find any reviews for them but they appear to be good quality. I'm specifically interested in the white or silver finish. All responses are greatly appreciated!

They are pretty cheaply cast - just like their other line for 3x the money.

Vossen.

I was interested in them, so I called them directly. The dude I talked to didn't seem to know about their wheels 100%. I had found the wheels on eBay and like the size/offset that was listed. When I asked him, he said that it's listed on eBay, but they don't offer those sizes/offsets. I was a little apprehensive after that.

Yeah that's where I found a set pretty cheap in 18". I messaged the seller with a few questions and he said they only weighed 16lbs each but that's what brings me to question their quality; that and the fact that a whole set of lightweight wheels is 899.

What did you decide to do? Have you picked out a different company to go with? Thanks for your response!

Thanks for the response!

Really? I know Vossen's are expensive but I would have expected them to be better quality for the money. I've never known anyone who wanted to spend the money for them.

Thanks for the info!

Here's a pic for reference.

Does anyone know of a similar wheel made by another company?

After my phone call with them, I found out that the size/offset/color I wanted wasn't available in 5x100, so I decided on a different wheel choice altogether. I went with the Privat Kup in 18x9.5+30. It's a "similar" design.

Seems alright. Konig is decent enough for an entry level wheel. In my years of selling them ... no issues honestly other than a rather cheap finish but you can only ask for so much.

I assume weight is not a concern. I would not be surprised if those Privat weighed close to 30 lbs each.
